The Venue Package

  • You'll get maximum SEO results, with the ability to implement dynamic SEO tools, understand what your competitors are doing and develop a proper SEO strategy for your site.

  • Our setup price for this theme is $0 and this is based on a template, with the pages listed in Section 4.1, and with no content or data to import (a brand new website).
  • Any custom design or development over and above the setup fee will be billed monthly based on Section 3.
  • If you have an existing website and need your content imported, import pricing is covered in Section 5.
  • In our first meeting, we will review all of your custom requirements and importing and give you an estimate for your project.

Terms & Service

This page explains our Venue Theme. When you use L, you're agreeing to these terms. To help make them easier to understand, we've also included annotations in these gray boxes. The annotations aren't part of the official terms and have no legal effect, but are intended to help you follow the text.


The Venue Theme includes all the basic features you need to run your blog.

  • 1.1. Blogging. Build and manage your blog effectively and easily. Build image layouts, manage sources, send automated emails and more.
  • 1.2. Directory. Manage your directory, banner ads and advertiser information properly and easily in one single place.
  • 1.3. Directory Invites/Updates. Allow advertisers to login and access their own advertisements, manage their data, upload images and manage payment info.
  • 1.4. Events. Manage the promotion of local events quickly and easily, including linking events to your advertisers, adding images, tracking stats and more.
  • 1.5. Event Ticket Sales. Manage and sell tickets to events seamlessly through your site and CMS.
  • 1.6. Magazines. Add new magazines, pull in key content, link to digital issues, sell your magazine online. You can manage all of this in one simple place now.
  • 1.7. Magazines Sales. Manage the sale of your magazine, as well as all of your subscriptions easily.
  • 1.8. Submissions. Receive content submissions directly in the CMS and blog them with a single click. There's no need to download and upload photos again, plus, sources and Instagram handles are all included.
  • 1.9. Shop. Integrate a shop into your website and manage your products, inventory and all of the details through the same system as your website.
  • 1.10. Automated Payments & Invoices. Automatically process your advertising payments every month and send automated invoices/receipts.
  • 1.11. User Accounts. Manage all online readers that signed up for a newsletter or created an account to like images/content and interact with your website.
  • 1.12. Website Editor. Change images, update text and manage the pages of your website simply.
  • 1.13. Advanced Reporting. Modify our standard reports with unique filters to better understand your data.


All L packages includes our fully-managed cloud hosting, ensuring your website has reliable hosting.

  • 2.1. 12 Month Term. The Venues theme is a 12 month term renewed annually.
  • 2.2. Bandwidth. 1tb/month of bandwidth is included with this package. Additional bandwidth is purchased at $5 per 500gb/month.
  • 2.3. Diskspace. 5gb of diskspace is included with this package. Additional diskspace is purchased at $5 per 5gb.
  • 2.4. Website Metrics. Track website visits, traffic sources, visitor geography and site paths, popular content, and much more with our server based stats.
  • 2.5. SSL. L automatically creates and configures free SSL certificates with industry recommended 2048-bit keys and SHA-2 signatures for all of our websites, including ones with custom domains. With your site secured by SSL, your visitors will see a green secure lock icon when browsing your site in their browser's address bar, and your site's rankings in Google will be improved.

3.Design & Development

The Venue Theme includes 5 hours of design work for you logo and branding. We'll create something from the ground-up exactly as you need for your site and brand. Based on your input, we'll provide two unique concepts for your homepage through PDF designs. After finalizing the homepage, we'll design all of the other pages needed on your site.

  • 3.1. 4 x 45 Minute Screenshare Conversations. 4 screenshare conversations with our team to discuss designs, development, set-up, training, SEO or other questions you have.
  • 3.2. Designs - $50/hr. Any custom designs that you request will be first mocked up within a PDF and sent to you for confirmation before developing.
  • 3.3. Branding - $50/hr. If you're looking to completely rebrand, we recommend working with a branding company that specializes in branding. If you have basic design requests, we can help.
  • 3.4. Copywriting - $50/hr. If you need help writing team bios, product descriptions, other page content or optimizing any of this content for SEO, we can help with that.
  • 3.5. Development - $100/hr. We can help with any custom development or programming you might need for your site.
  • 3.6. Virtual Assistant - $35/hr. If you need help with tagging images for your searching, adding data, setting new blog post categories etc. or other tasks, we have virtual assistants on hand who are proficient in our CMS and can manage these tasks for you.
  • 3.7. Hourly Billing. All hourly billing is billed on half-hour increments.
  • 3.8. Quoting. Any individual change request that is over $500 will be quoted and must receive confirmation to proceed.
  • 3.9. Invoicing. Invoicing is done monthly or when a project is completed and terms are 15 days.


The Setup focuses on the technical aspects, not the look and feel. The Venue Theme Setup covers all of the following pages.

  • 4.1. Pages Included. The following pages will be included:

    • 4.1.1. Home Page. The main landing page of your website, pulling in a combination of your blog content, vendors, social media etc. as per the design of your template.
    • 4.1.2. Blog Page. The blog page pulls in all of your blog posts.
    • 4.1.3. Directory Page. The directory page will have a list of categories (Hotels, Photographers, etc) with searching available. One business layout can be selected for paid advertisers and one for free listings.
    • 4.1.4. Events Page. The events page will have a list of events that are working at your venues or within your target locations.
    • 4.1.5. Location Page. The location page will list your main target locations and each location will have it's own page which will focus on driving more traffic to those areas.
    • 4.2.6. Sourced Page. If you credit vendors who aren't in your directory we create a page for them to keep people on your site, track stats and build SEO.
    • 4.1.7. Advertising Page. A basic advertising page with information about advertising on your website and a contact form.
    • 4.2.8. Submission Page. The Submissions Page is a special 2 step form for accepting and managing content submissions.
    • 4.1.9. Badges Page. A basic page with the option to download your badge or grab the badge embed code.
    • 4.1.10. Authors Page. A page that showcases all of your writers and contributors with headshots, bios and links to their articles.
    • 4.1.11. Search Page. A search page, giving readers the ability to search your site by title and keywords.
    • 4.1.12. User Account Page. Users can create accounts on your site and can edit any of their information/newsletter preferences, plus see all of the images they've liked, articles they've saved, profiles they've liked and more.
    • 4.1.13. Terms Page. A page to outline your Terms of Service.
    • 4.1.14. Privacy Page. A page to outline your Privacy Policy.
    • 4.1.15. About Page. A basic about page with text and image(s) outlining who you are and what you do.
    • 4.1.16. Contact Page. A basic contact page with image(s), text and contact form.
  • 4.2. Additional Pages. You can request additional pages, like a secondary blog to focus on lifestyle or individual static pages for your team, at anytime. The Elite Setup fee is designed around the pages listed in 4.1, plus we've included 20 hours of additional design work which can be used towards any additional pages. Any work done over and above the setup will billed hourly based on Section 3.
  • 4.3. SEO Advanced. We review your current website and your competitors websites in terms of SEO. Next we develop a strategy for your needs. Based on the strategy we also customize your website and directory page titles.
  • 4.4. Responsive Layout (Mobile-Optimized). All L websites are responsively designed and mobile-ready from the start. Your page will look great on any device.
  • 4.5. DNS Setup. We'll help you configuring all the high-level technical domain and DNS settings to get your website to properly loading on our Server.


If you're setting up a brand new website, there is no importing fee. If you have an existing website, with content/data that needs to be imported, then you'll be charged an additional $500 for our "standard import". If you need additional help with importing your data it will be billed at $35/hour.

  • 5.1. Standard Import. We've built a great tool to import your content from a "standard" Wordpress or Squarespace setup. Keep in mind that some Wordpress or Squarespace setups are very custom and our importing tool may not work. This doesn't mean we can't import it, it just means we'll have to build a custom script for your content needs, please see 5.2 for more details.
  • 5.2. Custom Import. If your current setup needs additional help for importing, we can build a custom script. The time it takes to create this script is billed at $35/hour.
  • 5.3. Import Guarantee. All importing is typically 99% successful. From time to time some images or some content does not import correctly. The User is responsible to check all imported content and L will help solve the problem. L is not responsible if your content does not import correctly while using our tools.

6.Email Hosting

L does not host domain Emails. Instead we recommend that you use a professional service that focuses on Email Hosting like Google's G Suite or Microsoft's Outlook.

  • 6.1. G Suite. G Suite is a popular Email solution which also includes Google Calendar, Docs, Drive, and more. Learn more about G Suite here.
